2. Next Tuesday we have a sports night for all level 2 and 4 cadets. Please wear appropriate sports attire and bring a water bottle. All level 1 and 3 cadets have regular classes.

4. Summer applications are available! Please see the table at the front to get your application. The application is due to the office NO LATER THAN January 22nd 2018. We have also included the forms with this email.

5. Saturday December 15th is A MANDATORY SPORTS DAY at the Canadian Forces Base Garrison Fitness Centre. Seniors and staff meet at 9:00am. Timings are from 9:30am-4:30pm. Make sure to wear sports attire, a water-bottle, and a snack. Lunch is provided. If you have dietary restrictions, please go to the communication board and put your restriction on the dietary restriction sheet. 6. Level 3 cadets who have not done their mutuals, you will be doing your mutuals onDecember 18th.

7. Level 4 cadets who have not done their mutuals, you will be doing your mutuals on January 8th.

8. Dec 18th is the last training night of 2018. The squadron will commence Winter Shut Down on Dec 19th. Cadets will resume on Tuesday January 8th.

9. The squadrons 395, 504, and 180 Army Cadets are holding a Christmas concert at the Aviation Museum on December 17th. Everyone is welcome to attend, parents and cadets alike! The concert starts at 7:00pm.

10. All gliding and power scholarship candidates are reminded that the Qualifying exam will be held at HMCS Nonsuch on Jan 7th, 2019 at 1800Hrs.

From the 395 Squadron Parents’ Association

1. Next Bingo is December 23rd. We require volunteers! Other upcoming dates for Bingo are January 19th, February 23rd, and March 17th. If you can volunteer, see the Parents’ Committee at the entrance or call Michelle Hollik (at 587-983-9394). If you’re 14 years or older you can help out and ALSO it counts for credit for Duke of Edinburgh!
2. BINGO Support to Norwood Legion January 3rd Wednesday night. If you can volunteer see Michelle Hollik on call at 587-983-9394
3. We are looking for volunteers to act as part of the interviewing panel for the Mock Boards in January. Those boards will prepare cadets for the scholarship interviews. Contact Rick Morrissey (at 587-521-0325).
4. Bylaw Review: We are looking for volunteers to conduct a review of our bylaws. Contact Rick Morrissey for more information (587-521-0325).
5. We are looking for 2-3 parent volunteers to form a committee for the new trailer. We will have to purchase in the New Year. Please contact Rick Morrissey (at 587-521-0325) or see the Parents’ Committee at the entrance to HMCS Nonsuch.
6. Two bottle-drives are planned mid-January and Spring. We could use a couple of volunteers to start planning this. See the Parents’ Association Window or call Rick Morrissey 587-521-0325
